Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge
"This is the lodge on the property of Tsavo West national park (safari). It is of the high quality accommodation with an opportunity to see the wild life and game directly from the room's balcony and the terrace of the restaurant. Two water holes attract various species such as zebras, giraffes, antilopes, elephants and water buffaloes. Having a breakfast with a view of the mountains and the flat bush country with the wild life/game in it is what we came to Kenya for. We were able to arrange game drives directly from the lodge - they have a whole fleet of jeeps specifically designed to accommodate rough conditions of safari terrain. Our guide William is the professional naturalist with an encyclopedic knowledge of the safari life. There wasn't a single question that he didn't give an exhaustive answer to. Since the property is located in the national park we had to enter the park no later than 6 pm. We were driving from the southern resort in Diani Beach on the very congested road and could only get to the park at the midnight. We contacted the lodge and the service agent by the name Dorkas made all the arrangements for ranger if the park to open the gates and finally check us in at 1 am."
